In September, 2015 we released the photo magazine „Coterie Photo Magazine KYUSHU III~KAGOSHIMA~ “ and we will held a photo exhibition with the photos of the magazine

The photographers you can meet in the gallery during the exibition. (Uchida 11 / 17-21 only)

On the 11/21 from 6 pm we will invite you to the „Coterie Photo Magazine Kyushu III JAPAN party in Berlin“.
We will enjoy Japanese cuisine and Kyushu sake.
There will be a slideshow and live music with the Japanese singe-songwriter R-ko.

Moments Of Open Eyes – opening at November 6, 2015

Just like in the analogue photography, with calligraphy you have only one chance to capture the moment. Once you miss it you need to try again, but it will never be the same image. Not only you deal with the balance of black and white, and contrast, but also with a composition.
The correct proportions will define the beauty of the final work.
But calligraphy is not only the technique … is also the art of grasping expression and transforming emotions and thoughts into an image.

For this exhibition, we decided to memorize our moments of open eyes.

Finding Afghanistan – Vernissage am 3. September 2015

Waffe_hinterm_TorDer freie Fotojournalist und ARD-Korrespondent Martin Gerner hat Afghanistan seit 2001 intensiv bereist und vor Ort ohne die Beschränkungen militärischer embeds gearbeitet. Seine Begegnungen mit Menschen in Kabul und den afghanischen Städten stehen im Zentrum der Ausstellung Finding Afghanistan. Kriegsalltag zwischen Traum und Trauma, Sehnsucht und Terror.
